What is "Old Leaf Studios"?
I have always been interested in the process of making. 40 years spent in a family construction business taught me not only how to bring ideas to reality, but the value of doing so. I take pride in my skills and my ability to turn a raw piece of material into something valuable and beautiful.
I am lucky to have a large collection of tools, most handed down from previous generations of family. Some of my tools are from the 40's; many are older. But they sat under-used for a long time. In 2020 I grabbed an opportunity and dove hard into my shop, refitting it and turning it into the maker space I knew it could be.

My studio started as a space I could explore my craft and learn new skills. It still is, but within it I have grown the confidence needed to start offering my creations for sale. Old Leaf Studios is now a place where I get to bring beautiful things into the world with my thoughts and my hands.

So: Why "Old Leaf"?

Because it's not a New Leaf I've turned over, but the oldest one I've got. I've gone back to my first love and passion and hope to now share it with you.
