Woven Pattern Charcuterie Board

This is my favorite pattern to build. It takes several extra steps, but the result always blows people away. I build these out of Maple, Cherry, and Black Walnut. Every board is different, as I freehand the curves every time depending on what the piece is telling me. As such , this photo is just a representation of the style. THis one is in fact my wife's and she'd be upset if I sold it.
The hole is sized to fit a ramikin so you can have olives, tapinade, or some other juicy delicious item in your platter without making a mess. A stemless wineglass also snugs in nicely for smaller parties.
I finish these out at around 15" x 10" x 3/4", and they make handy cutting boards if your not in the mood for hors d'oeuvres.
